The XpressQuant mouse IgG test strip is a novel combo lateral flow assay-based technique for the rapid detection and semi quantitative measurement of mouse IgG, and mouse IgG Fc fused proteins. The assay has a simple procedure and can be completed within 5 minutes without any instrument. The strip can be applied directly to unpurified samples in cell lysis buffer or cell culture medium (with or without FBS). It is also compatible with samples in common buffers such as PBS, Tris, or HEPES etc.
The XpressQuant Mouse IgG Test Strip detects all mouse IgG subtypes, including IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG2c, and IgG3, with a sensitivity of 0.1 µg/mL. The quantitative range extends from the detection limit up to 5 mg/mL. Unlike traditional sandwich lateral flow assays, this test is not affected by the hook effect and does not produce false-negative results in samples with high analyte concentrations. By comparing the line pattern with the reference images provided in the protocol, the sample concentration can be semi-quantitatively determined by simple visual inspection with the naked eye.
